OldMaps.com This page hosts a variety of old maps from different states and you can further search for individual county and town maps. Many of the maps appear to be taken from the Boston Public Library.

Massachusetts RR and Township Map This example is a map of MA published in 1879 and contains drainage, city and town boundaries, and all the information that would be needed for RR. The site has these types of maps for all over the world. [posted by sw]

maps this is an old map that shows many of the towns in mass but the thing that i find most interesting is all the towns around my town are listed on the map but my town isnt listed.
